For several generations, the family has lived in the Centre-Loire. In the early 1980s, Jean-Marie created the Domaine des Clairneaux from scratch in the Sancerre appellation. In 1998, the estate grew with the takeover of Domaine de Montbenoit in the Coteaux du Giennois, our grandfather's vineyard.

In 2015 operations began in the north of the Coteaux du Giennois appellation, in the village of Beaulieu-sur-Loire. Today, they join forces with talented winegrowers to develop their know-how on new Center-Loire appellations such as Pouilly-Fumé and Menetou-Salon.

Tasting Notes

A beautifully vibrant Crémant de Loire with a delicate salmon-pink hue and a fine, persistent mousse. The nose is expressive and inviting, offering aromas of wild strawberries, raspberries and redcurrants, complemented by subtle floral notes and a hint of freshly baked brioche. On the palate, bright red berry flavours are balanced by crisp citrus acidity and a creamy texture from extended lees ageing. Refreshing, dry and elegantly structured, it finishes long with notes of red fruit and mineral freshness.
