Nikka From The Barrel is soft but richly flavoured. The secret behind its gorgeous flavour is the unique combination of complex blending, higher ABV 51.4% and “marriage” process. The complex formula is created by blending more than 100 different batches of malt and grain whiskies. After blending, the whisky is filled into used barrels and matured for another few months. This “marriage” process harmonizes all components in the formula, resulting in a gorgeous smooth, mellow taste.

Tasting Notes

Medium-body with good balance. There are notes of cut flowers and fresh fruits, spice, and a little oak. The palate is full-bodied and punchy. There is plenty of winter spice and toffee, a little caramel and vanilla, and a good mouthful of fruit.
