Château Lannessan's history is rich, stretching back to 1793 when the estate came under the ownership of the Delbos family. Notably, the current château, a picturesque 19th-century manor inspired by Tudor architecture, was constructed in 1876 under the guidance of Jean Delbos. For many years, Château Lannessan was managed outside the formal Bordeaux classification system, allowing it the freedom to focus on quality rather than ranking.
