Cristal was originally created by Louis Roederer to fulfill the request of Tsar Alexander II for a Champagne suitable to his own style and tastes. The house produced an exceptional Champagne presented in a crystal bottle with fruit selected from seven of the top crus in the region. This is an incredible wine that is released when ready to drink but will also reward cellaring and ageing.
