In 1998, Emiliana’s organic project became a reality, converting their vineyards to herbicide-free environments. In 2006 their vineyards were certified biodynamic, a system which follows and allows nature’s own processes at its own rhythm, without the intervention of external elements. The varietals are young, clearly identified with their original variety and loyal to the characteristics of the grape.

A natural wine with no added sulphites, this blend from the carbon neutral Chilean winery Emiliana is a fantastic introduction to natural wine. It's clean, precise and juicy. The syrah adds a typical spicy, dark fruit character that you'd expect, while the Roussane adds a softness and balance that you'd find in a premium Cotes du Rhone.

"Overt smoked meats on the nose – very Syrah – with juicy red fruit on the palate. Fine, dry tannin and well-integrated acidity. Gets the personality of Syrah absolutely spot on. Not sure that Roussanne contributes much, but it doesn't matter either way – this is good stuff, and good value.""
