Domaine Saint Gayan can trace it's wine making roots back to the 17th Century,

12 generations of winemakers have followed one another in this estate.  Jean Pierre Meffre and his wife Martine are handing over the estate to the next generation: Julie their eldest daughter, and Christian-Yves Carré de Lusançay, their son-in-law who worked with them for over fifteen years.

Powerful, spice-accented
cherry, boysenberry, lavender, liquorice and
white pepper qualities on the perfumed nose.
Lush red/blue fruit preserve, succulent herb
and floral pastille flavours smoothly blend
depth and energy and are braced by a spine
of juicy acidity. The blue fruit and spice notes
return on a long, subtly chewy finish that’s
framed by sneaky tannins
