Le Petit Haut Lafitte Blanc is the second white wine of Château Smith Haut Lafitte, one of the leading estates of the Pessac-Léognan appellation in Bordeaux. The property has been owned by Florence and her late husband Daniel Cathiard since 1990, under whom it has risen to become one of the most consistently acclaimed producers on the Left Bank for both red and white wines.

Today we see the younger generation take more control with their 3 daughters directly involved in the Chateau activities across skincare (Caudelie) wellness and wine production.

The estate farms sustainably across its 78-hectare vineyard and operates its own cooperage, producing around 70% of its barrels

Press Review

Wine Advocate – 90–93 pts — "Aromas of spring flowers, citrus, lime tree leaves and menthol. Medium-bodied, satiny and round, with a fleshy core of fruit, bright acids and an elegant, ethereal finish enhanced by gastronomic bitterness."
Vinous (Antonio Galloni) – 92–94 pts — Praised for its refined tension and mineral character, described as "pure class."
Decanter — "A touch of honey and honeycomb on the nose, some caramel, green herbs, apple and white stone fruit. Mouthwatering creamy peach with salinity, a touch of graphite and wet stones that lingers on the finish."
