Domaine des Pierres Roses is an exciting Beaujolais project from renowned winemaker Thibault Liger-Belair, best known for his highly regarded wines in Burgundy. Here in Moulin-à-Vent, he brings a Burgundian eye for site, texture and finesse to one of the most structured and age-worthy of the Beaujolais crus.

Made from Gamay grown on granite-rich soils, this single-site “Champ de Cour” has the depth and savoury character that set Moulin-à-Vent apart, while retaining the freshness and energy that make Beaujolais so drinkable.

The 2023 vintage is bright and expressive, with aromas of red cherry, raspberry, violet and subtle spice. The palate is silky but serious, with fine tannins, mineral grip and a long, fresh finish. A beautiful choice for those who enjoy elegant Burgundy but want something with a little more lift and immediacy.

Food match: roast chicken, charcuterie, pork, duck, mushroom dishes or a simple plate of cheese.
