Domaine William Fèvre Chablis 1er Cru, Montée de Tonnerre 2021

Domaine William Fevre leads the way in organic and biodynamic viticulture in Chablis. 

2021 was a difficult vintage in terms of frost. With  20 days of frost danger in total, massively reducing yields. This on top of the ensuing botrytis pressure bought by rain throughout the season means there's not much of this vintage to lay your hands on. 

2021 for whites is exceptional. Tension and mineral tones drive the wines. Whilst they may not be as open as the 2022s and 2023s, the vibrant acid and underlying concentration will reward in the medium to long term.
