Kym Teusner and Mick Page, overheard a couple of grape growers talking about grubbing up their 85 year old Grenache vines. The guys stepped up and offered the growers four times what they’d be paid for the crop before. This stance is the cornerstone of their business, treating growers with the respect they deserve. Kym and Mick make the kind of wines they like to drink, we liked them too when we visited back in 2016. The wines are full of character, edged with the old vine complexities that we love.

Tasting Notes

Wonderfully rich, vibrant and concentrated flavours
with outstanding structure, colour and balance. The wine displays vitality and freshness, without being over ripe. As a result, the wine is only just medium bodied, which, when combined with the bright acidity makes it such a refreshing and enjoyable drink that can be enjoyed with almost any food.

Press Review

''This wine presents an enticing option. Barossa is mostly known for it's iconic shiraz, but also has some fantastic quality grenache such as this. There's a real depth of fruit with a bright vitality from refreshing acidity that gives this life and easy drinkability. It's perfect for rib-eye and sirloin steak, BBQ salmon or duck, with enough fruit and acidity to cut through the heaviest of sauces.
