Rocche Costamagna, Roccardo Langhe Nebbiolo, 2024

Rocche Costamagna is one of La Morra's oldest estates, selling wine since 1841. Alessandro Locatelli has run the 14ha property since the mid-1980s, steadily raising quality in vineyard and cellar.

Roccardo is the estate's Langhe Nebbiolo, an approachable introduction to the grape. Macerated for seven to eight days and partly aged in oak, it shows the perfume of Nebbiolo in an earlier-drinking style, and will keep for four to ten years.
