In the Village of Barolo, where there is a small and sought-after hill from which it is said that Barolo was born. The oldest bottle of the Langa, kept in Bra by the Manzone family, in fact bears the inscription “CANNUBI 1752”.
Two extremely precious hectars of grapes of Nebbiolo that Roberto Einaudi and his daughter Paola purchased from the Gancia family in 1997, completing an enterprise that began 50 years earlier. The deal fell through back then, after the price was unjustifiably raised when the previous owner learned that the purchaser was Einaudi, then President.

A wine of great class that expresses the elegance of the territory, of a brilliant garnet red turning slightly amber with time, exuberant in its fragrance of fruit and spices, of great body, full and velvety with a long final taste of goudron and spices.

"The Poderi Luigi Einaudi 2020 Barolo Cannubi has a delicate and fine approach with redcurrant, fine fruit, blue flower, crushed stone and crushed curry leaf. There is a savoury hint of dried tobacco leaf as well. The Cannubi is fine and finessed throughout, although you do get some of the character of the hot vintage with a tiny splash of extra concentration or thickness. Production is 12,673 bottles."
