In 1998, Emiliana’s organic project became a reality, converting their vineyards to herbicide-free environments. In 2006 their vineyards were certified biodynamic, a system which follows and allows nature’s own processes at its own rhythm, without the intervention of external elements. The varietals are young, clearly identified with their original variety and loyal to the characteristics of the grape.

Tasting Notes

Ruby-red in colour with high intensity. The nose shows intense aromas of red fruit like cherry and black plum, with hints of sweet-brier and a presence of spiced notes like bay leaf, cedar, and black pepper. On the palate the wine is very harmonious and elegant with nice volume and rich acidity.

"I was impressed by the peppery, spicy and varietal 2020 57 Rocas Carmenere from Colchagua that I found elegant and balanced, with pungent aromas and flavors of freshly cracked peppercorns and integrated oak. The wine has moderate ripeness, 14% alcohol and moderate acidity, coming through as mellow and delicate. 12,600 bottles produced. It was bottled in November 2021."
