Chateau Beaumont

A classic left-bank claret with a shy but alluring nose that opens slowly to reveal finely carved black fruit with dried mint and thyme. The same herbs mingle in the mouth with plum and blackcurrant, topped by a strong capsicum note. Firm but well-presented tannins, especially on the front palate, with measured spiciness adding depth and energy.
