Winemaker Renae Hirsch favours a minimal intervention approach in the cellar, attempting to showcase varietal, regional and vineyard characteristics whilst promoting elegance, balance and finesse.

Blewitt Springs is nestled in the foothills of McLaren Vale and ripens 1-2 weeks later than most vineyards in the region. It produces Shiraz with lovely vibrant fruit, a gorgeous mid palate texture with flavours of strawberry shortcake. It finishes with fine sandy/biscuity tannins, which are a hallmark of Blewitt Springs.
