The Guido Porro 2023 Langhe Nebbiolo is named after the previous owner of the plot, Camilu. This parcel lies within the Lazzarito Cru and faces southeast. Guido Porro presses a classic and high-quality Langhe Nebbiolo from the grapes from the Nebbiolo vines.

At the end of September the grapes are picked by hand and processed immediately. The following fermentation takes place in a temperature-controlled stainless steel tank for 20-25 days. The Nebbiolo is then aged for 6-8 months in both cement tanks and stainless steel containers. After a short period of bottle storage, the wine is then available for sale.

The 2023 Guido Porro Langhe Nebbiolo Camilu showcases a classic expression of Nebbiolo. It offers a bouquet of fresh red cherries, wild strawberries, and fragrant roses, underpinned by hints of spice and subtle earthy tones. On the palate, it delivers a balance of ripe red fruit, vibrant acidity, and polished tannins, with a light yet structured frame that reflects its early-drinking style. The wine is aged in a combination of cement and stainless steel, preserving its fresh and approachable character. Ideal pairings include braised meats or northern Italian dishes like brasato al Barolo, complementing its elegance and structure.
