Situated in Serralunga d'Alba, the Porro family own a number of vineyards in this menzione of Lazzarito. 

Harriet first met Guido in 2019 when over there tasting the famed 2016 vintage. Though a small, lesser known estate, the wines are fast gaining notoriety for their exceptional elegance and lifted expression. 

Offering good value within Barolo, Guido's wines are fast becoming a sell-out in our annual 'anteprima' each January.

Tasting Notes

Full-bodied with firm yet well-integrated tannins. It reveals layers of dark fruit flavours, including plums and blackberries, complemented by subtle oak and floral notes, particularly rose petals and violets. Its vibrant acidity balances the structure, making it suitable for aging​.
