Ceres, Claire Lurton, Haut Medoc 2020

The CERES vintage of Château Haut-Bages Libéral takes its name from the Roman goddess of agriculture and fertility. 

This wine from the Haut-Medoc has no added sulphur. A project from the stable of Haut-Bages Liberal sees Claire Lurton embarc on a more sustainable, modern Bordeaux. The wine is produced on an 8-hectare vineyard in a single block and rests on a clay-limestone soil, located in the commune of Vertheuil.

Working organically and biodynamically this wine is the true translator of terroir. We love the exceptionally buoyant, fragrant fruit, crunchy structure and moorish nature of the palate. A new favourite!
