The EstateThe Meffre family has been making wine in Gigondas since the 15th century. In 2007 Jean-Pierre was joined on the estate by his son in law, Yves Carre´ de Lusanc¸ay. This is a traditional estate, in the best sense: no irrigation and everything done by hand. The wines are powerful and full bodied with pure, ripe fruits. Prices remain very modest in comparison to some of their peers.
