A 10 hectare vineyard owned by the Mendes de Azevedo family on the sunny slopes at Marco de Canaveses in the Tâmega Valley, east of Porto. The soil is made up of granite and a sandy loam adding freshness and minerality to the wines. The production, overseen by Anselmo Mendes, one of Portugal’s most respected winemakers and Pedro Castro brings wines of fantastic freshness, purity and character.
