Fruit driven style, lightly oaked. Attractive red colour with some violet tones. Complex nose, plenty of red fruits well assembled with some sweetish notes like chocolate and jam touches. Soft, fresh and tasty. Good structure with a persistent Ready to drink now, although will improve in the bottle.
VINEYARD NOTES: Peteroa Vineyard – Low yield vines. Controlled deficit irrigation regime. Careful viticultural management searching for the proper ripeness of the tannins and avoiding green flavours.
VINTAGE NOTES: Low yields and good conditions during ripenness gave well structured wine with attractives varietal aromas, fresh acidity and good phenolic composition Harvest in first week of April.
FERMENTATION NOTES: 5 days cold maceration. Selected yeasts. Tempearature controlled fermentation (28°C). 4 pumpovers per day. 15 days maceration on the skins. Full malolactic fermentation.
