About This Wine...
Located in the heart of the Ebro valley, the Hacienda has 65ha under vine. The Tempranillo, Mazuelo and Garnacha vines are protected from prevailing westerly winds. The calcareous, clay soils are low in nutrients producing grapes of excellent quality. No irrigaiton, thereby avoiding weakening of the tannins and no herbicides or pesticides are used. Organically farmed, production is limited to 4000/5000kg per hectare. The wines are aged in fine-grained barrels of French, American and Russian oak.
