About This Wine...
“Ample and demonstrative when I tasted it from barrel, Lamy’s 2018 Saint-Aubin 1er Cru En Remilly has tightened up after bottling. Unwinding in the glass with notes of orange oil, nutmeg, pear and toasted bread, it’s medium to full-bodied, bright and incisive, with a coiled and concentrated core, tangy acids and a long, saline finish. The only missing ingredient is time. Drink 2026-2052.”
94/100 Robert Parker 2021
“The 2018 Saint-Aubin En Remilly 1er Cru has a pixelated, mineral-driven bouquet that manages to effortlessly offset the warmth of the growing season. Shucked oyster shell and limestone aromas develop in the glass. The well-balanced palate delivers wonderful harmony and a fine bead of acidity. Almost caressing in texture, with supremely well integrated oak toward the finish. Outstanding.”
