About This Wine...

Deep, concentrated plummy-red tones. Complex aroma of well-ripped red fruits. Full-flavoured, concentrated and with a long aftertaste. Food pairing: pork and beef dishes, oven-codfish dishes and hard cheeses

“Mid cherry red. Fragrant with dark-red fruits, cherry and a touch of spicy blackberry. Lovely and open on the nose. Just a a little peppery. On the palate, those same lively and vibrant fruit flavours with marked freshness. Juicy but not simple. The tannins are gently present and there’s some chocolate-like smoothness to the texture. You could approach this now with food but there’s no hurry. The oak is well restrained and just adds that note of spice on the finish as well as perhaps a little extra firmness to the tannins on the finish.”

16.5/20 Jancis Robinson
