About This Wine...

Deep concentrated ruby colour. Complex aromas of dark berries with well integrated oak notes. Full-flavoured, round, silky and mature tannins. Food pairing: rich red meat dishes, hunting dishes, sausages, intense flavoured cheeses with creamy texture

“Deep purplish crimson with opaque core. Lovely pure spicy dark fruit – classic Alicante Bouschet – with the extra spice from the oak but the oak is not overpowering in the aroma even if it is obvious. On the palate, full-bodied, rich, spicy and marked in spice and dark chocolate by the oak but also has unexpected freshness on the finish. Firm but smooth tannin texture. Generous and packed with fruit. Surprisingly bright and juicy finish on this persistent wine.”

17/20 Jancis Robinson
