About This Product...
On the nose, the wines are floral with notes of fresh berries and ground black pepper. The begins with a rush of juicy fruit, followed by a full palate with very soft tannins. A wine which is very easy to drink alone or with food
2015 was In many ways a perfect year for growing grapes, with a cool, wet spring, providing good moisture in the sub-soil followed by a warm, dry summer. The lack of rain during the key months of September and early October meant that there were problems with rot or any need to treat, giving perfect ripeness.
“Sometimes you want a wine that immediately hits the spot, and the generous stream of ripe strawberry flavours… a drooling quality that makes it delicious to drink on its own, and it also goes great with food” Corinna Hardgrave, The Irish Independent 25th April 2017
Campos de España is a project created by Ignasi López and Robert Hunter, two foremost experts in Spanish wine. Vinergia is a fusion of two Spanish words, vino (wine, of course) and sinergia (synergy).
Robert and Ignasi have a combined total of nearly 50 years’ experience in the Spanish wine business and set up Vinergia in 2005 with the idea of bringing the best of Spain’s traditional grape varieties to the world at affordable prices. They work very closely with winemakers, selecting the best juice from the best vineyards and putting their own personal stamp on things. The project has been wildly successful with the Garnacha being the best-selling individual wine in Sweden for the last two years.
