About This Wine...
‘Overt smoked meats on the nose – very Syrah – with juicy red fruit on the palate. Fine, dry tannin and well-integrated acidity. Gets the personality of Syrah absolutely spot on. Not sure that Roussanne contributes much, but it doesn’t matter either way – this is good stuff, and good value.

“A new red with no added sulfites, the 2017 Salvaje has an earthy nose with a touch of leather, a little marked by the absence of SO2, with some dusty and earthy flavors. For fans of the style. It’s mostly Syrah, with some 7% Roussanne.
