Silver medal in 2017, “Concours Amphore” in France, category “organic wines”, Gold Medal “Guide Gilbert et Gaillard” 2017

Its name “Haut Coup de Foudres” refers to the ageing of the wine in oak barrels and at the same time quotes the French expression “le coup de foudre” (love at first sight).

The Domaine is located at 300 metres above sea level, perched on a sunny hill and protected from any outside pollution. The family have been involved in the organic farming certification procedure since 2012 and the 2015 will be our first organic-certified vintage.

All the reds are matured in stainless steel tanks, foudres (5000-litre French oak casks) or half-muids (French oak barrels) depending on the grape varietals.

About This Wine...

Offers on the nose an elegant and rich palette and aromas of undergrowth, liquorice, laurel, cherry and orange peel, as well as small red fruits. On the palate the organic red wine shows fine tannins, a discreet wood note and pleasant freshness.

“Fresh red fruit – juicy and spicy. Real energy and bite.”
