About This Wine...
Attractive pale golden colour, delicate effervescence. The nose is dominated by aromas of orange and honey. It then evolves towards notes of citrus fruit, mango and mandarin. Lively on the palate, revealing flavours of vanilla cream and lemon meringue, giving way to notes of lemon. The final notes are long and persistent.
This wine is organically produced in order to ensure strict respect for expression of the fine terroirs of which it is composed.
The result of rigorous selection and exceptional know-how, this Champagne provides a perfect balance of roundness, structure, finesse and elegance, all of which are characteristic of the house style.
This is a Champagne which can be served as an apéritif, with sole meunière or lemon meringue pie.
OENOLOGY: Assembly of four to five years of harvests, including 10% reserve wine. Only the cuvée (first press) is used to make this champagne. Alcoholic fermentation at 16° and malolactic fermentation at 18° in thermoregulated stainless-steel vats. Aged for a minimum of 24 months. BRUT DOSING at 7 g/l
Family of winegrowers for several generations, it was in 1979 that Gremillet Champagne was born. The estate is composed of 25 hectares of vineyards is situated in a small village 180 kilometres south of Paris, 45 kilometres from Troyes, the historic capital of Champagne. The vines from which this Champagne is produced lie on steep, sun-drenched hillsides.
