About This Wine...
Surprisingly light and delicate red considering where it comes from Mid cherry red, juicy with lovely red fruit and orange notes. Succulent, fresh and lifted. Has an almost herbal freshness on the palate. Very long and captivatingly dry. It is delicious now but well made Cinsault can age very well indeed.
The grapes are vinified separately in stainless steel tanks, maceration lasts 12 days then the wine is bottled unfiltered and unfined. Ageing takes place in 3rd fill Burgundy barrels for 12 months. Bottles produced – 1350.
