Bordeaux & Burgundy
Thanks to strong links with a number of negociants in Bordeaux we have a diverse list, spanning great vintages from top Châteaux, as well as exceptional value examples from lesser known properties.
Harriet Tindal MW works with Jeff to ensure that our list is constantly evolving, whilst ensuring consistency of the more popular wines.
January is the perfect month to boost your mood with a warming supper and dark fruited, spicy bottle of Bordeaux. What’s wonderful about Bordeaux is the diversity of styles. If you want to taste without buying full bottles, why not try one of our sample packs. They come with a short informational video from Harriet on each wine.

With stocks of the heralded and exciting 2018 vintage almost depleted, we are looking forward to the imminent release of our 2019 Burgundy Offer.
Quantities are lower than those of the bountiful and powerful 2018 vintage. Early bud-break in March held some frost difficulties, with a prolonged flowering period adversely affecting fruit set. A hot, dry mid summer reduced berry size. Despite this being a difficult vintage in the vineyards. It was one where terroir shows strength. Surprisingly taut acid rein in the riper tones with protracted layers of aromas and flavours thanks to a cooler autumn, refreshed by some rain. Another exciting vintage, difficult to compare to previous years thanks to the extremities of climate change.
